Dr. Paul Hrkal is a board certified Naturopathic physician and the Medical Director at AOR. He graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Kinesiology and then went on to complete his medical studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Dr Hrkal is an expert in nutrition and supplemental therapies and has additional training and certification in intravenous and injection therapy and functional medicine. He has a special interest in the application of evidence-based nutritional and supplemental therapies in providing high quality, patient centred care. Dr Hrkal has a clinical focus in chronic pain, brain injuries and complementary cancer care. He also is strong advocate of integrative medical education and lectures regularly to both healthcare practitioners and public audiences across Canada. Dr. NavNirat Nibber ND, is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, and registered Naturopathic Doctor in Calgary, Alberta. As the “other” Dr.Nibber, NavNirat has grown up in the world of alternative health care and natural supplements. After completing her bachelors degree in Biology and Microbiology at the University of Victoria, Dr. Nibber moved to Toronto to complete the four year long naturopathic degree. During this time Dr. Nibber worked at the Brampton Civic hospital, as well as a community clinic in the heart of Queen West in Toronto providing free outpatient care. Dr. Nibber was also selected for the Adjunctive Cancer care shift, and the recipient of the 2015 naturopathic honour award. Chantal Ann Dumas is a Medical Advisor for AOR and Naturopathic Doctor in Québec. A graduate from the École d’Enseignement Supérieur de Naturopathie du Québec (ÉESNQ), she has been an active member of the Association des Diplômés en Naturopathie du Québec (ANAQ) since 1998. She is also a licensed birth assistant, certified DAN! clinician level ll from the Autism Research Institute, certified Healthy Breast Teacher and a master herbalist. Chantal Ann has been teaching botanical medicine and orthomolecular therapy to naturopathic students since 2001, and has held numerous professional and public lectures. She is widely recognized as a women’s health expert and advocate in the field of natural and integrative medicine. Courtney Ranieri is a fourth-year student at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. She currently sees patients as a Naturopathic Intern at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and the Brampton Civic Hospital. She was selected to be a part of the Adjunctive Cancer care shift, where she exclusively treats patients undergoing cancer treatment or in remission. Prior to her naturopathic studies, Courtney completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Sexuality Studies at Western University. Courtney has always been passionate about health and wellness and has a special interest in women’s health, fertility, nutrition, cancer care, dermatology and endocrine disorders. Dr. Jen Marion is a general practitioner who treats patients with a variety of health issues. She is passionate about helping her patients both look and feel their best by addressing the causes of health issues rather than simply treating or suppressing symptoms. Dr. Aaron Zadek completed his 4 year medical degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, treating patients at Brampton Civic Hospital and the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. Dr. Aaron has a strong passion for sports medicine. He uses an evidence based approach to provide individualized sport therapy and nutrition. He has experience working with athletes in a variety of sports including long and short distance runners, competitive swimmers, dancers, cyclists, minor league hockey, baseball, football, and professional fighters. Dr. Aaron also travels as an onsite therapist and nutritionist for professional mixed martial artists; supervising their physical and mental preparation for competition, weight management, in-fight repairs and post-fight recovery.Dr. Zadek is a Medical Advisor for Advanced Orthomolecular Research. Jonathan Ferrier, PhD, is a scientist at Research and Regulatory Affairs, AOR Inc. He is a software design architect and Chief of Science at Emcarta Inc. He is a recent postdoctoral fellow at the University of Ottawa, Department of Biology, Ottawa Hospital, and Bruker BioSpin (inventor of the MRI). Ferrier has made 47 research and development contributions since 2008. He has designed methods for assessing organism evolution using metabolomics and bioinformatics, and is working with clinicians and computational biologists to bring big data (and small data) to personal medicine. He continues to oversee design of natural product drugs for maternal fetal medicine using metabolomics and human diagnostics, and provides leadership and direction for ethnobotany, pharmacology, phytochemistry, and research teams spanning 16 countries. |
